2025 Show Recap
We are thrilled to report that the 2025 Philly Candy Show in Atlantic City, NJ, was a sweet success! The three-day event buzzed with enthusiastic buyers, from local favorites like Candy Gyrl Mobile and Siena’s Candy Jar to corporate giants such as Spencer’s Gifts. Our diverse group of exhibitors included long-standing companies such as Cargill, Albanese, Lucille’s Own Make Candies, Victoria’s Candies Inc., Giambri’s Quality Sweets, Lerro Candy Co., and Asher’s Chocolates, as well as new additions like Kontos Foods, Candy Era, IRCA Group, That Fudge Place, and Sweet Robo.
Our two days of seminars were highly successful and well-attended, featuring insightful sessions ranging from “Coffee with Joe Crevino” to “Sweet Confections: Turning Confections into Meaningful Customer Experiences” by Estelle Tracy of 37 Chocolates. Attendees also enjoyed a delicious presentation on “Beyond Salted Caramel: Savory Trends in Candy” by Amy Trout Hughes of 48 Block’s Fine Candy.
The Sunday evening happy hour by the pool in Harrah’s Resort’s tropical atrium was a hit, thanks to our fabulous sponsors: Barry Callebaut, Met Speed Label, Asher’s, Mod-Pac, Cargill, Lerro’s, Casani, Birnn, Sweet Robo, Royal Wholesale, Giambri’s, Dutch Valley, Victoria’s, Sweet Robo, Simplex, and Atlantic City. Guests enjoyed a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Monday evening featured a pre-dinner happy hour, followed by an engaging presentation and interview with Bruce Molfetto, VP of Sales at Sweet Robo. The evening concluded with our annual awards ceremony, presented by President Paul Esposito, Dave Giambris, and Joe Lees. Congratulations to our deserving winners:
Paddle Award: Tracey Loverde, Mod-Pac Corporation
Hook Award: David Lamparelli, Christopher’s Chocolates, Oh Ryan’s Irish Potatoes
Jack Lees Memorial Kettle Award: Jennifer & Charles Crawford, Plantation Candies
The show not only radiated a new, vibrant energy, but this was also evident in the colorful new signage and banners displayed throughout the show floor.
